Food and community go hand in hand.

At Good Food Impact, we know our connection to the communities we work in is vital. We are grateful for the support from the community and our community partners.

Community Pantry

As part of the Take Care of Your Neighbours Campaign, the Good Food Impact and the Canadian Courage Project teamed up with the Stouffville Pentecostal Church to bring a new community pantry to town. A community pantry, also known as free pantryโ€™s and community cupboards, are a 24/7 food access point, where anyone can get the food they need, when they need it. An innovative approach to community resource development, the team has modelled the pantry to ensure both food and hygiene essential items have a space in the pantry.

The community pantry is located at the Stouffville Pentecostal Church, 189 Sandiford Drive, Stouffville.

Community Workshops

We offer community workshops to engage & educate groups in our community about the issue of food insecurity, the importance of good food, and the story behind the Good Food Impact.

Workshops are geared for local nonprofits, businesses and community groups. Please see our Good Food Student page for information about educational workshops.

Take Care of Your Neighbours Campaign

We are thrilled to introduce our new limited-edition charitable tote design brought to you by the Canadian Courage Project and the Good Food Impact.

To address the rise of food insecurity in Canada and its impact on youth facing homelessness, we've partnered with the Canadian Courage Project, another woman-founded non-profit organization, to bring wellness departure kits to youth facing homelessness in the GTA. 100% of proceeds from every tote purchased will fund one care package and three.
